Article Image: Kolcraft Fights to Keep $3.2M Playpen Verdict Against Foreign Rival — Kolcraft Enterprises has slammed Chicco USA Inc.’s attempt to get a new trial in Illinois federal court and avoid a $3.2 million decision over a playpen patent, calling Chicco’s motion a “kitchen sink assault” that largely reiterates arguments the court has already rejected.

Raymond P. Niro Jr. of Niro McAndrews LLC, representing Kolcraft, said they are confident the jury verdict will be upheld, adding the jury’s decision was “lopsided,” with the jury answering all 55 questions on the jury form in favor of Kolcraft.
