In addition to the firm’s litigation practice – and, frequently, as an integral part of it – we serve our clients in the areas of development and licensing of their intellectual property. In this regard, Niro Law has researched, negotiated, and finalized arrangements under which third parties provide funding for a client’s intellectual property and/or technology development efforts. In addition, we have successfully negotiated the outright sale of clients’ intellectual property rights to third parties, as well as the acquisition of third party intellectual property assets. We also manage clients’ intellectual property portfolios, tracking the progress of pending patent applications, filing new applications, and counseling clients on the strategic trajectory of their portfolios. Overall, Niro has obtained licenses for his clients totaling in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
